EMBARK is an open network that continuously accepts membership applications via the portal of the COST website.

Who can join
Any researcher or professional affiliated to a legal entity who has a proven track record or stake in the preservation of media art — from any country. A legal entity can be a museum, university, archive or a registered studio or company. Eligibility for travel funding and grants is limited to COST member countries.

What to expect
Members are expected to attend monthly online meetings with their Working Group(s), sign up for at least one work package and actively contribute to accomplish EMBARK deliverables. They will receive invitations to attend conferences, Training Schools and workshops and may become eligible for travel funding and grants.

Membership is managed through the COST platform. Request to join the Action, then connect with a Working Group lead. We'll help you find the right fit.
