Making the case for media art heritage.

Media art's specific preservation needs are still poorly understood by culture administrators and policy makers, resulting in a shortage of policy, programming and funding. EMBARK works to change that — connecting members with policy makers and providing the evidence to act.

Three fronts.

01

Evidence

We produce roadmaps, surveys and position papers that quantify the preservation gap across Europe.
02

Connection

We bring policy makers into Action Conferences as panellists, and connect them with collection stewards.
03

Alignment

We explore the integration of media art knowledge into existing and new European initiatives.
