About the programme
Taking place in one of Europe’s leading art museums, the conference presents work developed within the EU-funded EMBARK network over the past year and explores future directions, with the aim of establishing discussions, partnerships and alliances that strengthen the stewardship of this heritage.
Topics reflect the activities and focus of each of the five Working Groups: available infrastructures and infrastructural needs; methods, processes and tools; issues specific to art dependent on software, the blockchain, digital platforms and technologies; the use of AI in preservation; documentation as a conservation strategy; and sustainable practices. An opportunity not only to learn about EMBARK activities, but to engage with participants from a wide diversity of disciplines, institutions and European regions.
